The Michigan Wolverines Lacrosse team will be in Division 1 this season for the first time. To start off the year, Head Coach John Paul led his team into a scrimmage against Providence in the Big House. The Wolverines fell 11-10 in overtime, but the lax team has a very bright future in Division 1:

Michigan Finishes 15th In Directors’ Cup Standings

The Michigan Wolverines Athletic Program finished 15th in the 2010/2011 school year standings.  The Leerfield Sports Directors’ Cup gives points to the top ten programs male and female for each respective Division 1 sport.  Stanford won the Director’s Cup for the 17th year in a row.
