INCH National Player of the Week – Shawn Hunwick

This past weekend Michigan goalie Shawn Hunwick allowed one goal in a two game sweep over Miami (Ohio). For his efforts, Inside College Hockey named him the National Player of the Week. Over his last twelve games Hunwick has a 1.34 GAA and a .957 Save Percentage. Here is an interview Hunwick did last season:

Michigan Finishes 15th In Directors’ Cup Standings

The Michigan Wolverines Athletic Program finished 15th in the 2010/2011 school year standings.  The Leerfield Sports Directors’ Cup gives points to the top ten programs male and female for each respective Division 1 sport.  Stanford won the Director’s Cup for the 17th year in a row.
